Republican Tom Royals Signs Parent Pledge Affirming The Fundamental Rights of Parents in Their Children’s Education and Health Care

Former Combat Aviator & MD-06 Candidate Stands with Moms For Liberty at Parent Pledge Signing for Parents’ Rights in Education and Health Care

Rockville, M.D. – Former Naval Flight Officer and combat aviator Tom Royals, Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in Maryland’s Sixth Congressional District, signed the Parent Pledge on Thursday outside the Montgomery County Board of Education building in Rockville with Moms for Liberty. Royals released the following statement following the event.

“Parents have fundamental rights when it comes to their children’s education and health care.” Royals said. “It’s our shared duty to prepare the next generation of Americans to compete and achieve success in the 21st century economy, free from an ideological agenda in the classroom.”

“I’m proud to join Moms for Liberty, an organization dedicated to securing the rights of parents in the education of their children,” Royals added. “As a father and a veteran, I will never stop fighting for children to be educated, not told what to think in the classroom, and I will always uphold the rights of parents.”
