Former Combat Aviator & MD-06 Candidate Signs Taxpayer Protection Pledge to Oppose Tax Increases

Germantown, M.D. – Former Naval Flight Officer and combat aviator Tom Royals, Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in Maryland’s Sixth Congressional District, signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge on Monday. Afterwards he released the following statement.

“America is under attack from out-of-touch politicians who carelessly throw away billions of dollars in hard-earned taxpayer money and increasingly push America further into a debt crisis.” said Tom Royals. “If American families have to live within their means, so can the politicians in Congress.”

“In Congress, not only will I never raise your taxes, but I’ll cut spending and lower middle-class taxes because you work hard for your money, and you deserve to keep more of it.” Royals added, “It’s time to restore common sense and fiscal discipline in Washington to stop the reckless spending, get the debt under control and deliver relief for Maryland families struggling under the weight of inflation and a sluggish economy.”
