Former Combat Aviator Tom Royals Launches First Grassroots Field Program in GOP Race for MD-06

Royals Campaign Deployed Dozens of Interns and Volunteers Door-to-Door Saturday, Encouraging Voters to Send a Fighter to Washington

Germantown, M.D. – Former Naval Flight Officer and combat aviator Tom Royals, Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in Maryland’s Sixth Congressional District, launched his campaign’s grassroots field program on Saturday. The Royals campaign deployed dozens of interns and volunteers to canvass neighborhoods door-to-door, sharing the importance of nominating and electing a proven fighter in this critical race for the future of Maryland families and communities.

“This campaign is building toward victory each and every day by engaging and recruiting voters to our mission,” Royals said. “That is why I’m incredibly proud to announce that we have deployed the first fully operational grassroots field program of any Republican campaign in this race.”

“I am excited to have so many young people energized about winning this race and committed to ensuring our campaign’s grassroots organization is unparalleled as we continue to build our base of support,” Royals continued. “Each week, our campaign will deploy dozens of interns and volunteers to connect with voters directly at their door, hear their concerns, share my story as a former Naval Flight Officer who protected our nation on combat missions from the cockpit of an F-18 Super Hornet overseas and ask them to join our mission to restore common sense conservative leadership in Washington.”
