Former Combat Aviator Tom Royals Finishes Big Week of GOP Events With Commanding Garrett County Performance

Royals Wins Support of Voters Ready to Send a Fighter to Washington to Combat Threats to America in Third Republican Forum-Debate of the Week

McHenry, M.D. – Former Naval Flight Officer and combat aviator Tom Royals, Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in Maryland’s Sixth Congressional District was the clear favorite of voters who attended a Garrett County MD-06 Candidate Forum hosted by the Garrett County Republican Central Committee on Saturday afternoon. The forum in Garrett County was the third debate or forum of the week.

“Republican candidates took the stage for another candidate forum this weekend and former combat aviator Tom Royals demonstrated he has the experience to fight for our communities and deliver common sense conservative results for Maryland families,” said Royals for Congress campaign manager Brendan Duffy. “Momentum for Tom Royals continues to grow as voters who see America under attack rally behind his campaign to send a fighter to Congress.”

After the forum, voters in the audience weighed in their support for Royals:

“I’m a veteran with thirty years in the United States Army.” Randy Robertson from Garrett Robertson said. “I really liked Tom Royals’ focus on national defense and appreciate his service having been there.”
